FLEXPART smoke forecast

The FLEXPART-WRF particle dispersion model is implemented in an experimental setup for the description of smog formation over the greater Athens area. For this purpose we assume daily fireplace emissions to last between 18:00-00:00 UTC. The dispersion of smoke is governed by the atmospheric conditions as described by WRF-ARW model at a horizontal resolution of 4x4 km
